PS one thing that I noticed about the comments about making your week hallowed on the Sabath is that one of the synonymns of hallowed is consecrate. If you think about what we promise in the law of consecration it makes sense that our rest is not necesarily the emphasis, but dedicating everything you have to getting to the "Lord's Rest". Also my dad has been known to say, You can't consecrate something if you don't have it--hence the idea that all things must be done in moderation and that you can't give energy you don't have--thus you have to give yourself time to get energy so that you can give it the Lord, who then promises that if we follow Him he will give us strength as the wings of Eagles. I don't think we truly understand what the Lord is willing to give, if we can understand and accept His will. Great stuff.
alisha, you are soooo good! wow.
Thanks for recommending my site, TempleStudy.com.
